View all attorneysOur attorneys have many years of experience in aviation related matters. Current clients include manufacturers of aircraft and aircraft parts, fixed base operators, professional and non-professional pilots and other companies with aviation interests. Recent engagements include work on regulatory, legislative, administrative and enforcement issues; business aircraft transactions; litigation matters related to bankruptcy, contracts, financing, customs and labor and employment; tax and license revocation; and suspension issues.
While our regulatory work focuses primarily on the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), our business aviation practice encompasses the full range of transactional and regulatory issues affecting aircraft owners and operators. Our attorneys have advised clients regarding financing and acquiring aircraft registered overseas, developing fractional ownership programs, and acquiring or financing aircraft interests in such programs. We also assist aircraft owners with federal and state tax issues related to aircraft ownership and operation. In addition, we have represented pilots and others in FAA enforcement actions and NTSB appeals.
