Wright Lindsey Jennings (WLJ) was recognized for the second consecutive year as one of the “Best Places to Work in Arkansas” at a luncheon hosted by Arkansas Business Publishing Group on Thursday, September 26. The Best Places to Work initiative, administered by independent research firm Best Companies Group, ranks participating companies based on employer-provided benefits and policies, and the results of an employee engagement and satisfaction survey.
The survey findings highlighted WLJ’s efforts to nurture an encouraging, cooperative and friendly culture, and celebrated the firm’s focus on peer collaboration, mentorship and accessible management. Longevity incentives, dedication to gender diversity and work/life balance, health and wellness activities, and financial education events were also emphasized as positive workplace practices at WLJ. The survey includes sections that examine leadership and planning; corporate culture and communication; employee relationships to supervisors; and pay and benefits.
“We are tremendously proud to earn this honor for the second year in a row,” said Managing Partner Steve Lancaster. “The feedback we have received through the Best Places to Work process has been highly beneficial and constructive for our firm. It has given us the opportunity to address areas that need improvement, and to continue supporting efforts – and creating new initiatives – that positively impact our employees. A law firm can be a stressful and deadline-driven place to work and, as a result, the information gained through this process is highly valuable to our leadership.”
