Wright Lindsey Jennings (WLJ) was recognized as one of the 40 “Best Places to Work in Arkansas” at a luncheon hosted by Arkansas Business Publishing Group on Thursday, September 27. The Best Places to Work initiative, administered by independent research firm Best Companies Group, ranks participating companies based on employer-provided benefits and policies, and the results of an employee engagement and satisfaction survey.
The survey findings highlighted WLJ’s efforts to nurture an encouraging, cooperative and friendly culture, and celebrated the firm’s focus on peer collaboration, mentorship and accessible management. Longevity incentives, dedication to gender diversity and work/life balance, health and wellness activities, and financial education events were also emphasized as positive workplace practices at WLJ. This was the first time for WLJ to participate in the statewide program.
“It’s always encouraging to find out that your organization’s efforts positively impact your employees, as they are intended to do” said Managing Partner Steve Lancaster. “We are delighted with the feedback we received through the Best Places to Work process. A law firm can be a stressful and deadline-driven place to work, which is why it is extremely beneficial to know what works well and what needs improvement.”
