Little Rock, Ark. (Jan. 30, 2023) – The partners of Wright Lindsey Jennings have elected two attorneys into partnership: Nicholas D. Hornung and Jessica Pruitt Koehler.

Nick has an active litigation practice that includes products liability defense, insurance defense and general commercial litigation, with a specific focus on cases involving the automobile, trucking, construction and nursing home industries. Before starting with Wright Lindsey Jennings, Nick built a similar practice with another Little Rock-based firm, defending clients involved in automobile accidents, premises liability, fire investigation and coverage disputes.

A Fort Smith native, he earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he graduated cum laude, and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas. While in law school, Nick served as a member of the Arkansas Law Review and worked in the Bankruptcy ClinicAlso during law school, Nick completed a judicial externship for the Hon. Ben Barry in the United State Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Arkansas.

Since 2015, Nick has been an active member of the Arkansas and Pulaski County Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute and the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel. He has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for his work in Commercial Litigation and Product Liability Litigation – Defendants in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 editions. This recognition highlights the work of attorneys practicing for 10 years or fewer.

Jessica Pruitt Koehler is engaged in an active litigation practice that encompasses insurance defense, products liability defense and general commercial litigation. Before starting at the firm, she served a two-year term as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Kristine G. Baker at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Jessica earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she graduated in the top 5% of her class and summa cum laude in 2015. While in law school, Jessica served as the Articles Editor for the Arkansas Law Review and as a teaching assistant in Civil Procedure. 

A Little Rock native and Vanderbilt University graduate, Jessica has also been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for her work in Commercial Litigation, Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants and Product Liability Litigation – Defendants in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 editions. She was the recipient of numerous awards and accolades in law school: the Judge Thomas F. Butt Legal Excellence Award for Excellence in Civil Procedure, the James H. Mckenzie Award for Professional Responsibility and Ethics and the T.C. & Rosemary Carson Memorial Award for Constitutional Law.
