About this Event

We’ll visit with local business owners who have taken advantage of an emerging industry in our state to start their own businesses and product lines. The panelists include:

  • Carmen Portillo, a chocolatier and owner of Cocoa Belle Chocolates. Carmen has recently launched CB-Dulce, a new line of full-spectrum CBD gourmet chocolates in partnership with hemp company Tree of Life Seeds.
  • Loretta Lever is the owner and operator of several ventures dedicated to the medical and hemp sides of the business, including THC Total Herbal Care Corporation in Oklahoma and Agri-Integrated Solutions Corporation in Arkansas. One of her larger projects to date is a partnership with CannAmerica, a nationally-recognized medical edible company, for the exclusive rights to produce and sell their products in Oklahoma, and she is also preparing to open a large dedicated hemp processing facility in Little Rock.
  • Kattie Hansen is the license holder, owner and operator of Native Green Wellness, the state’s largest medical dispensary, located just south of Little Rock in Hensley. Native Green is a community partner that works to contribute to the diversity and economic development of its communities by providing high quality alternative medicine, employment opportunities, research, and education opportunities.
  • Wright Lindsey Jennings’ attorney Erika Gee will serve as moderator and share her own insight and experience in working with clients in this growing industry.
