Wright Lindsey Jennings partner David Jones served as Program Vice Chair of the Defense Research Institute’s (DRI) 2016 Construction Law Seminar. The conference, “Preparing a Foundation for a Stormy Future,” was held in New Orleans on June 1-3. Presentations offered by industry experts and seasoned construction attorneys provided compelling discussion of anticipated legal and construction trends, as well as best practices in risk management and insurance coverage in construction matters.

Jones focuses his practice in the areas of construction law, business law and litigation, and commercial litigation. He advises individuals and businesses in wide ranging industries including construction, banking, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, transportation and insurance on issues related to risk management, pre-litigation resolution and all aspects of civil litigation. Within construction law, Jones’ practice centers on construction defect and related contract litigation, including representation of owners, contractors, design professionals, sureties and suppliers. He is a contributing author to several construction law publications, presents frequently on construction topics, and is an active member of DRI’s Construction Committee and other state and nationwide construction specialty organizations.
