The partners of Wright Lindsey Jennings are pleased to announce that three attorneys have been elected into partnership: Jason T. Browning, Michelle L. Browning and Cal Rose.

Jason Browning, who joined the firm’s Little Rock office in 2019, has vast experience serving as counsel for physicians, hospitals and medical clinics in medical negligence, and professional and medical liability, as well as advising clients on HIPAA compliance, quality assurance and risk management. He also engages in commercial litigation, complex products liability matters, medical equipment utilization concerns and transportation (trucking) litigation. In addition, Jason is a certified expert agent advisor with the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) and provides counsel to Major League Baseball players and player agents on all aspects of baseball.

Jason, a graduate of Hendrix College and the University of Arkansas School of Law, has been recognized by Mid-South Super Lawyers for his work in the areas of medical malpractice defense, litigation, and entertainment and sports law.

Michelle Browning, also based in the firm’s Little Rock office, continues her 20-year legal career defending claims of professional liability. Her clients include major healthcare systems (both for-profit and non-profit), healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies and physicians in a wide range of specialties. She represents clients in litigated matters of all sizes, with an emphasis on catastrophic damages cases.

Michelle is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. She is recognized by Chambers USAThe Best Lawyers in America© and Mid-South Super Lawyers for her work in medical malpractice defense. She is past president and current board member for the Thea Foundation Board of Directors and helps coach the Catholic High and Mount St. Mary’s mock trial teams.

Rogers-based transactional attorney Cal Rose assists clients with an extensive range of business-related legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private offerings and securities compliance, and real estate and commercial transactions. After attending Hendrix College, Cal graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law and earned an LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law. In addition to advising clients on legal and tax issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, corporate governance, executive compensation and a wide range of other business-related matters, Cal also works with non-profits, 501(c)(3) corporations and other tax-exempt organizations in applying for, obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status.

Cal was named a “Rising Star” by Mid-South Super Lawyers in the areas of business and corporate law, securities and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and tax law. Cal currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Walton Arts Center and teaches a course on business law at the University of Arkansas School of Law. He is a graduate of Leadership Fayetteville and was chosen as a member of the 2017 Forty Under 40 class by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.
