WLJ Tech Law has launched a new partnership with Northwest Arkansas-based Startup Junkie to further the shared goal of strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the innovative efforts of the startup community. WLJ Tech Law is a specialized group of Wright Lindsey Jennings (WLJ) attorneys based in Rogers and Little Rock dedicated to educating and advocating for entrepreneurs, tech startups and established technology businesses.
WLJ Tech Law’s commitment will directly support Startup Junkie’s ongoing efforts to enhance the startup journey through no-cost, one-on-one consulting; events, workshops and programs; and access to capital and talent. Through the end of 2021, WLJ attorneys will provide resources including seminars, podcasts and blog content, as well as sponsorship support for the Startup Crawl and Fuel Accelerator, among other initiatives. WLJ Tech Law is uniquely situated to serve the legal needs of innovators, from corporate formation and capital raises to intellectual property and employment concerns.
“We are proud to collaborate with Startup Junkie to help expand access to education and resources for the tech-based and entrepreneur community,” said Brandon Middleton, one of WLJ Tech Law’s lead attorneys. “With many small businesses and startups still battling the impact of COVID-19 on their growth, and the continued struggle of women and minority entrepreneurs to overcome systemic challenges, it is a critical time to increase our support for an inclusive and vibrant community.”
With this alliance, WLJ Tech Law solidifies its commitment to serve as the go-to legal resource for startups in the state. WLJ Tech Law partners with other entrepreneurial support organizations around the state, including The Venture Center, ReMix Ideas, the Conductor, the NWA Tech Summit, the I-Fund/Delta I-Fund, the Arkansas Women’s Business Center at Winrock International and the Arkansas Small Business Technology Development Center, among others. In 2019, WLJ also launched Woman-Run, an initiative promoting networking and mentorship while addressing the unique business needs of women and minority entrepreneurs through regular programming and guest speakers.
“The Startup Junkie team is thrilled for the opportunity to partner with WLJ Tech Law,” said Caleb Talley, Startup Junkie director of marketing and events. “WLJ attorneys have a stellar reputation when it comes to serving the startup community, and we are excited for the chance to amplify our own efforts to serve this community through this collaboration. WLJ Tech Law shares our commitment to innovators and entrepreneurs, and we look forward to expanding our reach and resources, together, to remove barriers, democratize access, and provide strategic support to anyone looking to establish or grow a business in Arkansas.”
