Kristi Moody, a former partner at Wright Lindsey Jennings, has been appointed general counsel at Windstream Holdings Inc., a Little Rock-based provider of voice and data network communications and managed services to businesses nationwide. In that role, she will manage the company’s expansive legal affairs, including strategic initiatives, regulatory and securities law compliance, corporate governance and records, and contracts and state government affairs. She previously served as senior VP of law and corporate secretary for the board of directors for Windstream and, prior to that executive appointment, Moody served as vice president of law and deputy general counsel at Windstream.
Moody practiced product liability and insurance defense, professional and nursing home malpractice, and fidelity and surety law at WLJ for 11 years before joining Windstream in 2006.
