Dustin K. Doty

Professional Experience

Dustin Doty has handled matters ranging from domestic relations issues to complex commercial disputes and has a focus on personal injury defense and professional liability cases.

Dustin previously spent several years with the firm before relocating to North Carolina for an in-house role with a public utility company. During his two-year absence, Dustin developed an understanding as in-house counsel overseeing claims and other matters of what a client is looking for in outside counsel and how a client can be best served. He was also reminded of his love for being in the courtroom, which lead Dustin and his wife, Elisabeth, to move back to Northwest Arkansas to rejoin WLJ.

Education

Dustin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he served as Production Editor for the Arkansas Law Review and was a member of the Board of Advocates. His article, “Saving Face: Arkansas’s Application of the Confrontation Clause to Jury Sentencing Proceedings”, 66 Ark. L. Rev. 549 (2013), was published in the Arkansas Law Review.

Prior to law school, Dustin graduated from Cleveland State University, where he was a member of Cleveland States’ NCAA Division I wrestling team and the recipient of the Economics Excellence Award.
