Lance is a Certified Mediator for Arkansas Circuit Courts Civil and Probate Divisions. He also concentrates his practice on creditor’s rights and remedies, including bankruptcy, foreclosure, secured transactions, replevins, receiverships and other areas of business/commercial litigation, trying cases before state, federal and bankruptcy courts and arbitration tribunals. Lance has represented a variety of interests, including buyers and sellers of property and businesses, financial institutions, insurance companies, unsecured creditors, lessors, corporate debtors and individual debtors in large, non-consumer bankruptcies. He also engages in sophisticated workouts and restructurings representing both debtors and creditors (just not at the same time).

In his spare time, Lance loves to hunt and fish and spend time with his family – especially the grandkids.

His recent experience includes:

• Representing corporate clients in state and federal litigation on collateral disputes, loan disputes and breach of contract matters.
• Serving as counsel to lenders on foreclosure, replevin, receivers and other matters related to the lending of money and the pledge of collateral.
• Represented a buyer of grain to achieve resolution of claims related to a large failed Arkansas grain merchandiser.
• Represented a client in purchasing an insurance agency out of bankruptcy.
• Representing agriculture lenders in defaults related to crop loans and cattle operations.
• Represented a closely held company in acquiring the interest of a family member from Chapter 7 Trustee.
• Served as lead counsel for the lender in the appointment of a receiver and foreclosure of a rice mill and ultimate sale to a third-party.
• Represented lender in hotel properties receivership and workout of secured debt.

In the greater community, Lance previously served on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation and is a former member of the Junior Deputy Baseball Board of Directors.
