The Arkansas State Chamber/Associated Industries of Arkansas has announced the 59 members of Leadership Arkansas, Class XI. Wright Lindsey Jennings government relations attorney Erika Ross Gee is among those selected who will participate in the innovative nine-month program. Leadership Arkansas is designed to expose participants to the diverse challenges and opportunities that Arkansas communities face and, ultimately, to encourage their participation and leadership in the continued economic growth of the State.
Gee represents clients in government relations, regulatory and compliance matters. She uses her experience as general counsel for state agencies and licensing boards to assist clients to resolve regulatory and disciplinary disputes with state government. She also has substantial experience and established relationships with national, regional and state policymakers, which inform her work in advocacy, legislative consulting and policy development. Previously, Gee spent eight years in the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office as Assistant Attorney General, Chief of Staff and finally Chief Deputy Attorney General for Attorney General Dustin McDaniel.
Each year, Leadership Arkansas class members are selected from hundreds of applicants to participate in the program created and facilitated by the Arkansas State Chamber. Participants will work together to become better acquainted with the issues facing Arkansas, experience the best that the regions and communities offer and hone their already-demonstrated leadership capabilities.
