Professional Experience

Shelby Howlett is a labor and employment attorney who represents employers and professionals in a variety of employment matters. Prior to joining the firm, Howlett served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Kristine G. Baker at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

Howlett earned her J.D. from the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2019. While in law school, Howlett served as the Symposium Editor for the UA Little Rock Law Review. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.

About

Howlett is from Belle Plaine, Kansas. She received her B.A. in Sociology and International Relations from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. She earned her M. Ed. in Early Childhood and Special Education from Hunter College in New York, New York. Prior to law school, Howlett taught special education and worked as a school administrator.
