On Wednesday, November 4, 2015, Wright, Lindsey & Jennings LLP will host its third Little Rock Labor & Employment Seminar of the year -“Just How Smart are Smartphones in the Workplace?”  The release of the latest and greatest version of a smartphone, tablet, or other electronic device may be exciting for employees, but the constantly evolving and growing number of technology tools available to employees in the 21st century workplace can be daunting to employers.

Whether provided by employers or brought to work by employees on their own, more and more employees are using technology tools in and outside of the workplace, which raises a variety of concerns for employers ranging from decreased employee productivity to the security of confidential business information to wage and hour law violations. This seminar will include an informative overview of these modern-day work environment issues and offer tips on how to minimize employers’ risks.

The seminar will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the WLJ Conference Rooms (Floor 23) at our offices in the Bank of America Building (200 W. Capitol Avenue) in Little Rock.

RSVP by contacting Alyx Vanness (avanness@wlj.com ) on or before Thursday, October 29.
