Wright Lindsey Jennings partner Baxter Drennon presented a webinar on the ethical traps related to giving free legal advice on June 27. Presented in conjunction with the DRI Lawyers’ Professionalism and Ethics and Young Lawyers Committees, this session also addressed related ethical hurdles such as social media use and potential conflicts of interest.
Drennon has a trial-oriented practice focusing on the areas of insurance defense (including transportation defense, products liability, construction disputes, professional negligence and premises liability, as well as coverage disputes) and representation of corporate clients (in cases involving automotive products liability, premises liability and trucking accidents). He is a member of the steering committee for the DRI Young Lawyers Committee, serving as the chair of the Marketing Subcommittee.
