Meredith Lowry, Wright Lindsey Jennings patent attorney, will participate as a session speaker at the 2015 Technology Summit in Rogers on November 10.  In her presentation, “The New Infringement Age,” Lowry will discuss how infringements can occur quickly and what to do to proactively protect intellectual property in light of today’s environment of rapid content sharing.

Summit sessions will deliver innovative solutions to common business challenges and educate attendees on how technology is powering change and leveling the playing field. The Summit will be held at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center and is hosted by the Northwest Arkansas Tech Council, whose mission is to help individuals and businesses gain a competitive edge both locally and globally through education, networking and community involvement.

Lowry’s practice principally involves various aspects of intellectual property, including patent litigation, trademark litigation, and computer technology. Since 2005, she has assisted a variety of inventors from individual entrepreneurs to large companies in their efforts to obtain patent, trademark and copyright protection and has also worked with such clients to protect those assets and defend against allegations of infringement.  Lowry assists clients in the transfer and licensing of rights of intellectual property, including technology transfer agreements and due diligence, as well as in trademark prosecution and patent prosecution.
