Kristi Moody, a former WLJ partner, has been named senior VP of law and corporate secretary for the board of directors for Windstream Communications. Kristi will provide counsel for a number of the company’s key functions, including corporate governance, securities law compliance, investor relations, capital markets, treasury, external communications and corporate development. In this role, she also will retain oversight of dispute resolution and contingencies. Kristi previously served as vice president of law and deputy general counsel at Windstream Communications, a Little Rock-based provider of advanced network communications, including cloud computing and managed services, to businesses nationwide.
Moody practiced product liability and insurance defense, professional and nursing home malpractice, and fidelity and surety law at WLJ for 11 years before joining Windstream in 2006.
