Meredith Lowry Chosen to Join State Chamber’s Leadership Arkansas Class XII

The Arkansas State Chamber/Associated Industries of Arkansas has announced the 60 members of Leadership Arkansas, Class XII. Wright Lindsey Jennings intellectual property attorney Meredith K. Lowry is among those selected who will participate in the innovative nine-month program. Leadership Arkansas is designed to expose participants to the diverse challenges and opportunities that Arkansas communities face and, ultimately, to encourage their participation and leadership in the continued economic growth of the State.

Lowry’s Rogers-based practice principally involves various aspects of intellectual property, including patent litigation, trademark litigation and computer technology. Since 2005, she has assisted a variety of inventors – from individual entrepreneurs to large companies – in their efforts to obtain patent, trademark and copyright protection and has also worked with such clients to protect those assets and defend against allegations of infringement. Lowry assists clients in the transfer and licensing of rights of intellectual property, including technology transfer agreements and due diligence, as well as in trademark prosecution and patent prosecution.

Active in numerous organizations in Northwest Arkansas, Lowry currently serves as co-chair of the 2017 NWA Tech Summit and is a member of the NWA Tech Council. She was honored as one of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal's Forty under 40 in 2014, was named a Rising Star by Mid-South Super Lawyers from 2012-2015 and is included in the 2018 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in Patent Law. She is a frequent speaker and author on intellectual property topics.

Each year, Leadership Arkansas class members are selected from hundreds of applicants to participate in the program created and facilitated by the Arkansas State Chamber. Participants will work together to become better acquainted with the issues facing Arkansas, experience the best that the regions and communities offer and hone their already-demonstrated leadership capabilities.
